The information on this site does not take the place of talking with a doctor or healthcare professional. Safety InformationThere have been reports of fatal cases of pancreatitis with use of Videx. Contact a healthcare professional immediately if you develop the following symptoms: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Videx and drugs like it have been linked to severe liver problems, including lactic acidosis. If you experience nausea, vomiting, unusual stomach discomfort, weakness, tiredness, shortness of breath and yellowing of the skin or eyes then contact a doctor right away, as these may be symptoms of early liver problems. Do not drink alcohol while on Videx as it could increase the risk of damage to the liver or pancreas.
